I don't do pet portraits, but I love to paint all animals and landscapes so message me with your ideas and we can go from there :-)

Photography

I shoot on location, using natural light to create lovely natural portraits. I am so lucky to do what I love most and I get to meet the most amazing people along the way. 

 

I’m in awe of how patient wildlife photographers are and how early a landscape photographer is willing to get up to get their shot but, for me, it’s all about the people. I have just always loved taking photos of people; capturing an emotion, holding on to a gorgeous little moment or somehow catching a kind of essence of the person I'm photographing. I feel privileged to be given the opportunity to tell a part of someone’s story with a series of images. Above all though, it’s just so much fun to have a camera in my hands and someone to photograph!

 

My main aim on a photo shoot is for my clients to come away feeling confident and relaxed in front of the camera (cos lets face it, not many people like having their photo taken!). My favourite clients, in fact, are people who say to me “I’m not very photogenic”, “I never look natural in photos” or “I only have one photo that I look good in and it’s from ten years ago!”...I suppose I just really enjoy proving them wrong! I love it when you can see how excited someone is when they realise how gorgeous they are and how surprised they are to have had so much fun in the process.
